Peregrine Senior Living at Delmar Place is looking for a professional Cook. We offer a clean and well-equipped kitchen with all of the tools you need to be successful. Schedule: Part Time Salary: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour, based on experience Benefits: Generous PTO Paid Holidays and Floating Holidays Aetna Health Insurance, including medical, dental, and vision Child Care Reimbursement Compassionate PTO Donation Program – to support a team member Flexible Scheduling Employer Paid Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program PTO Cash Out Program Retirement Plan – 401(k) with company match Cook Responsibilities include: Provide a high level of culinary customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere Participate in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and approved menus Adhere to state, federal, and company laws, regulations, and guidelines Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional, appetizing fashion, and presented in an attractive manner Ensure that appropriate snacks are available to residents with special dietary needs Cook Education & Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment required.
