Parish Office Manager: St. Sebastian

Parish Office Manager oversees daily parish office operations and serves as a welcoming first point of contact for parishioners, visitors, and community partners. This position coordinates office workflows across ministries and departments, supervises reception staff, and supports parish communications and event logistics with professionalism, discretion, and strong customer service. Key Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day office operations, schedules, staffing coverage, and front‑office workflows. Supervise reception staff (training, scheduling and performance feedback). Maintain parish records and sacramental documentation; support religious functions (e.g., funerals, Mass intentions) and order sacramental supplies. Coordinate calendars, meeting space, and event logistics; support fundraising and parish programming. Prepare, proofread, and support parish communications and administrative materials; maintain confidentiality. Qualifications 5+ years of office management experience; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google tools; ability to learn parish systems quickly (e.g., ACS, Canva a plus). Demonstrated commitment to the Catholic faith and ability to support the mission of the parish. Virtus certification required (or ability to obtain promptly upon hire). Position Details Full‑time, 30‑40 hours a week.
