Pay Rate: $25.00–$38.00 per hour, depending on experience

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch

Job Description

Ad-Vance Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with experience in personal injury, civil litigation, commercial litigation, or specialty law.

The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, legal research, document management, depositions, court filings, and trial preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of civil and personal injury litigation, including case preparation, discovery, settlement, and trial support.
• Draft, review, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Use case management and document management software, including FileCenter and CasePeer.
• Coordinate depositions, client and witness interviews, court filings, hearings, and other litigation activities.
• Track case deadlines, court dates, discovery deadlines, and case milestones.
• Conduct legal research and assist with document review and case preparation.
• Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, courts, opposing counsel, witnesses, and other external parties.
• Handle confidential legal and client information with discretion and professionalism.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Litigation Paralegal or Paralegal supporting litigation matters.
• Experience with civil litigation, personal injury, commercial litigation, or related legal practice.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery, legal documentation, and case management.
• Experience with pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, court filings, and trial preparation.
• Familiarity with CasePeer, FileCenter, and AI-powered legal tools is preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
