Corporate ParalegalJob Title: Corporate ParalegalLocation: Tysons, VAIndustry: Legal ServicesPay: $85,000–$90,000 annually (with potential flexibility depending on experience)About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with a long-standing, well-respected law firm located in the heart of Tysons, VA.Known for its collaborative and highly focused environment, the firm has built a reputation over several decades for delivering exceptional legal services.This opportunity is ideal for an experienced paralegal looking to join a tight-knit, professional corporate law practice.Job DescriptionThe Corporate Paralegal will play a key role supporting attorneys in the Corporate Practice Group with general corporate matters and transactional work.The role is primarily on-site, with the potential to work one remote day per week after several months, at the discretion of management.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and file documents for business entity formation, qualification, dissolution, and withdrawalDraft and manage corporate records, including minutes, resolutions, and consentsMaintain and update corporate minute books and organizational chartsSupport attorneys during corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, asset sales, and equity investmentsPerform due diligence, coordinate document signatures, compile closing materials, and manage post-closing documentationAssist with state and federal filings, including Secretaries of State and IRS forms (e.g., SS-4, 8832, S-election)Create and format professional documents, spreadsheets, and reports using Microsoft Word and ExcelQualificationsBachelor's degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred5–8+ years of corporate paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm settingDemonstrated ability to handle transactional matters, entity formation, and regulatory filingsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Excel testing may be requiredExcellent organizational, editing, and grammar skills with high attention to detailStrong communication, problem-solving, and time management skillsAbility to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environmentAdditional DetailsFull-time, direct hire opportunityStandard office hours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday (37.5-hour workweek)Candidates must be able to pass a background check covering the last 10 years, including employment, education, credit, and criminal historyTesting on Microsoft Word formatting and Excel functionality is part of the interview processPerksCompany-hosted appreciation events and team-building activitiesOpportunity to join a firm with long-term stability and career growthCollaborative team environment with a focus on excellence and professionalismAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
