We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to handle various financial tasks with accuracy and efficiency. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with other accounting tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions

- Prepare and send invoices to clients

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Handle vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies

- Monitor and track expenses and ensure they are within budget

- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements

- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting as needed

- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures

- Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

- Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (Quickbooks preferred)

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
