Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions

- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and payment processing

- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Prepare and analyze financial reports as needed

- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring

- Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets

- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any discrepancies or issues

- Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (Quickbooks, etc.)

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
