Chef Manager – School & Hospitality Agency Work | St Albans Location: St Albans and surrounding areas Pay: £18.00–£24.00 per hour (depending on experience and end employer) Start Date: September Job Type: Temporary Agency Work Berkeley-Scott is recruiting experienced Chef Managers to join our agency team for exciting opportunities across schools and a variety of catering businesses in and around St Albans starting in September. If you're an organised and motivated hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy flexible agency work while managing kitchen operations across a range of sites. Key responsibilities: Managing the day-to-day running of busy kitchens Leading, motivating and supporting kitchen teams Planning and delivering high-quality, nutritious meals Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health & safety and allergen standards Managing stock, ordering and minimising waste Ensuring kitchens operate efficiently and meet client expectations What we're looking for: A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar kitchen management role Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills Experience working within schools or contract catering is desirable Two satisfactory references An Enhanced DBS certificate The right to work in the UK A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage, but is not essential What we offer: Flexible agency assignments to suit your availability Competitive hourly pay of £18.00–£24.00 , depending on experience and the end employer Opportunities to work across schools and a variety of catering companies Ongoing support from the Berkeley-Scott recruitment team If you're an experienced Chef Manager looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
