JOB TITLE: Technical Repair and Support Specialist, CNC Machines
DEPARTMENT: Service
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides repair services and technical support to team members
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide repair and maintenance work on CNC milling machines, in-house and occasionally on-site.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CNC machines and CAD/CAM software or hardware
issues.
3. Provide team members with technical support and guidance
4. Other duties as assigned
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
REQUIRED TRAVEL: Occasional (about 20%)
SUBORDINATE POSITIONS: None
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR’S TITLE: Service Manager
LOCATION: vhf Inc, Hauppauge, NY 11788
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical equipment repair
2. Analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills are required.
3. Ability to work successfully, both independently, as well as part of a team.
4. Highly motivated with excellent organizational skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Prior CNC and CAD/CAM experience
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
3. Excellent communication skills. Friendly and polite solution-oriented customer service mindset.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Technical degree (vocational school, Associate Degree) or 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
3. Driver’s License
4. Authorization to work
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
