Account Support Specialist

Location: Charlotte, NC (Carmel Commons area) Schedule: Full-Time (36 hours/week) | Monday–Thursday | On-Site Enjoy a 4-day workweek with full-time benefits! This is a full-time, in-office position. About the Role We’re looking for an organized, customer-focused Account Support Specialist to join our team in our Charlotte office. In this relationship-driven role, you’ll serve as a primary point of contact for assigned suppliers and customers, managing orders from entry through delivery while coordinating with our sales team, suppliers, and transportation partners. This is not a commission-based sales or cold-calling role. Instead, you’ll focus on building long-term relationships and ensuring every order is handled accurately from start to finish. What You'll Do Process customer orders accurately and efficiently from entry through delivery. Coordinate deliveries with suppliers, warehouses, and transportation providers. Serve as a primary point of contact for customer questions, order updates, and scheduling. Monitor orders throughout the fulfillment process and proactively resolve issues. Maintain accurate customer, order, and inventory records. Assist with invoicing, reporting, and general sales support. Collaborate with suppliers and internal team members to ensure exceptional customer service. Help improve processes and contribute ideas that make our team more efficient. What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales support, order management, logistics, or a related role. Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP or order entry systems is a plus. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, agriculture, or related industries is preferred but not required.
