Therapy - RRT

Respiratory Therapist - NICU

Experience is required in a neonatal intensive care unit. Candidates must have valid certifications in ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, and RRT. Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of travel experience. Experience with a charting system is required. Candidates should have previous charge experience. Pediatric experience is preferred. Trauma Level II experience is preferred. Experience with various respiratory therapy skills is essential. Candidates need to assist in high-risk deliveries. Provides support for neonatal transports and care in the NICU. Skills required include monitoring and management of respiratory conditions. Candidates should have knowledge of mechanical ventilation and weaning techniques. Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot high-pressure alarms. Assists with emergency procedures and interventions as needed. Familiarity with pediatric respiratory diagnoses is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with team collaboration and interdisciplinary support. Willingness to float within the facility is necessary.
