The ideal provider is comfortable working in a high-acuity environment and flexible with scheduling, as the facility utilizes a mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts.Position DetailsSetting: Level I Trauma CenterSchedule: Flexible shifts (8s, 10s, and 12s available)Coverage Type: Inpatient / hospital-based anesthesia servicesEnvironment: High-volume, fast-paced clinical settingResponsibilitiesProvide anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures, including emergent and trauma casesPerform pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia evaluationsAdminister general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care as appropriateCollaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teamsEnsure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols and best practicesMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationRequirementsGraduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia programCertified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification requiredActive Virginia CRNA license or ability to obtainACLS and BLS certifications requiredExperience in trauma or high-acuity settings preferredFlexibility to work 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts
