Technical Account Manager
Benchling
Benchling seeks a Technical Account Manager in Boston to support enterprise life science customers post-implementation. The role involves managing complex accounts, optimizing platform adoption, and serving as the primary stakeholder contact for Success Package delivery and escalation management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for Success Package delivery and escalation management across assigned accounts
- Develop and maintain relationships with scientists, research leaders, IT managers, and other customer stakeholders
- Proactively optimize customer Benchling instances and identify adoption risks or product gaps
- Lead and execute optimization projects including tenant configuration and sprint-based accelerator initiatives
- Coordinate with internal teams including Customer Success, Professional Services, and Support
Requirements
- Existing Benchling product expertise and familiarity
- Proven ability to manage multiple enterprise customer accounts independently
- Strong scientific background and understanding of biotech R&D workflows
- Project management skills and experience with post-go-live customer support
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities across organizational levels
- Proficiency with AI tools and platforms in professional context
