Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage actively in multidisciplinary team meetings including Child and Family team discussions, treatment planning sessions, and ongoing training to ensure cohesive care delivery.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of new clients to inform development of tailored treatment plans, efficiently documenting all findings and updates in accordance with organizational policies.
\n
• Maintain strict adherence to client confidentiality and uphold the integrity and security of sensitive client records.
\n
• Diagnose and implement effective therapeutic strategies for children and adolescents facing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
\n
• Develop and adapt treatment interventions in collaboration with clients, incorporating evidence-based practices tailored to individual needs.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies as required, while preparing detailed discharge reports when appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position is focused on working with a diverse client demographic, primarily children and adolescents, along with their families. The selected LMFT will support individuals confronting a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your role in establishing a rapport with clients is crucial for creating a safe therapeutic environment where individuals can express their feelings and work toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• Active License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, providing therapy services to children, adolescents, and families.

• Thorough understanding of psychological theories pertaining to personality development, individual differences, and motivational psychology, as well as how these apply to abnormal behaviors.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective documentation and collaborative discussions with colleagues.

• Experience with telehealth services and familiarity with electronic health record systems is highly desirable.
