Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop trusting, therapeutic relationships with clients while fostering a safe and supportive environment for open dialogue.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Facilitate counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices.

• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and client feedback to ensure optimal care progression.

• Coordinate with other healthcare providers for referrals and additional support when necessary, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

• Participate in continuous professional development activities, including supervision and peer consultations, to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse adult population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Many clients may also experience co-occurring disorders, requiring specialized therapeutic approaches that integrate addiction counseling and mental health treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LMFT license issued by the state of California.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapy modalities relevant to mental health and substance use disorders.

• Excellent communication skills, along with a strong ability to motivate and engage clients actively in their therapeutic journey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
