Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate clients’ substance abuse histories and mental health concerns.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that effectively target addiction issues and any co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Facilitate evidence-based group and individual therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to empower clients towards recovery.

• Work closely with our multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated and cohesive care for clients, attending regular case consultations and treatment planning meetings.

• Provide education and support to clients’ families, encouraging their involvement in the recovery process and helping them understand the challenges associated with addiction.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with state regulations and agency standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults who are struggling with varying levels of substance use and addiction. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face unique challenges in their recovery journeys. Many individuals may also have co-occurring mental health conditions, which require an integrated approach to treatment that addresses the whole person, not just the addiction.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Specialized training in addiction counseling reflecting a solid understanding of substance abuse treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
