About the Role As a Staff Accountant, you will support the accuracy and reliability of financial operations through hands-on ownership of core accounting processes. You’ll play a key role in maintaining clean financial data, supporting month-end close, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between operations and accounting. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, and looking to grow their accounting skillset in a dynamic environment. What You’ll Own Core Accounting Execution - Prepare journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and ensure transactions are accurately recorded. Reconciliations & Close Support - Complete monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations. Support the month-end close process. Data Accuracy & Validation - Review transactions and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Reporting Support - Assist with financial reporting and help maintain reporting tools that provide visibility into business performance. Cash Flow Awareness - Track payments and receipts to support accurate cash flow timing and visibility. Process Integrity - Follow internal controls, maintain organized documentation, and ensure compliance with accounting policies. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with internal teams and external partners to gather and validate financial information. Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
