Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services, utilizing various methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered approaches for individuals, groups, and families.

• Collaborate effectively with case managers and other allied professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.

• Deliver crisis intervention strategies and immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress, creating a safe space for them to navigate their challenges.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote the services offered by our center.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who may face a variety of mental health conditions ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• Possess an active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• Hold a Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in building rapport and forging therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Demonstrate cultural competence and a commitment to providing care that respects and responds to the diverse backgrounds of our clients.

• Display excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, contributing to precise and timely documentation and follow-up.
