Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ counseling needs, identifying and documenting their substance use and mental health conditions.
\n
• Utilize the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) for diagnosing substance abuse disorders and employ ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria to determine the appropriate level of care.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans that include substance abuse counseling and facilitate collaborative treatment discussions with clients and treatment teams.
\n
• Design and implement discharge and continuum of care plans, ensuring that clients transition smoothly to suitable follow-up services or programs.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all counseling sessions, assessments, referrals, and follow-up activities within clients' clinical records.
\n
• Manage a caseload that encompasses ongoing case management, treatment planning, and clinical charting responsibilities.
\n
• Coordinate support services for clients and their families, ensuring communication and continuity of care throughout their treatment journey.
\n
• Engage with referral sources, including legal, educational, and workplace representatives, fostering collaboration for comprehensive client support.
\n
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to address crisis situations by implementing immediate and effective interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with clients suffering from co-occurring disorders, which means they may struggle with both mental health issues and substance use addictions. This population often requires a holistic approach to treatment, addressing not only the symptoms but also the underlying causes of their challenges. Your role will help empower clients to achieve long-term recovery, equipping them the skills necessary for sustainable success.

Qualifications\n

• Current LCSW licensure in the state of Arizona.

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in social work or a related field.

• Demonstrated professionalism, strong therapeutic boundaries, cultural competence, and self-motivation.

• Ability to work independently while being part of a remote team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time LCSW position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer an extensive benefits package that includes:
