Construction Asst Director of Project Management/Ops Practice Administrator

Overview Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR) is seeking a dynamic, collaborative individual to provide technical operational support to the Project Management group. The role works directly with the Director of Project Management and serves as a key internal resource for process improvements, risk mitigation, and cultural development to support continued growth. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Director of Project Management to provide technical operational support. Assist in developing and implementing practice initiatives, including creating processes and executing tasks. Work with internal stakeholders to implement changes, build consensus and encourage adoption. Advise on additional group or initiative needs or methods. Lead technology adoption within the practice, working with the technology/programming group. Assist with staffing matters, managing workload planning and aligning talent with project needs. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing correspondence. Help resolve selected project‑related issues or conflicts. Create, monitor and analyze business metrics to identify opportunities and uncover practice challenges. Promote the project management practice vision, strategies and tactics to inspire and clarify individual responsibilities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Design, Business Administration, Business Analytics or a related field. Understanding of industry processes (construction, building or architecture) is an asset. Proven experience in project administration or a similar role. Strong organizational, multitasking, communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel within SE Michigan to client sites using personal vehicle.
