As an HVAC Tech in our company, you will be responsible to maintain a broad range of Heating Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, and refrigeration equipment (HVAC) to include Package Units, Chillers, Boilers, Air Handlers, Chilled Water Loops, Humidifiers, Exhaust Hoods.What You Will DoAssemble, test, install, and maintain existing HVAC equipment and systemsDetermine the causes of system and equipment failuresUse of a wide range of testing and metering equipment to test (continuity, amperage, voltage, fluid levels and pressures gauges)Installation and maintenance of new HVAC equipmentInspection and testing of systems for refrigerant leaksRepairs leaks, evacuates, clean, purge and recharge systemsAdvise the management team of critical systems that could be hazardousWhat It Takes To Be SuccessfulHigh school/GED1-3 years exprience as a journeyman HVAC Tech1-3 years plumbing experienceMust have a current valid driver's licenseEPA Universal LicenseKnowledge and experience of building construction, mathematics, and mechanical systemsTake responsibility, pay attention to safety procedures and legal regulationsStrong people skills, verbal / written communication skills and problem-solving skillsTeam player / Positive attitudeExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to use hand tools and power toolsComputer Skills (able to effectively utilize internal Work Order SystemAbility to perform manually taxing tasks including lifting heavy equipment and maintaining strenuous positions.Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
