Salary: $162,920 - 169,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or another quantitative discipline.
• We are looking for strong experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, and data storytelling rather than research-focused data science.
• We expect hands-on knowledge of data ingestion, modeling, pipeline development, semantic layer design, and dashboard creation.
• Experience working with Tableau and/or Power BI is needed.
• Familiarity with Alteryx and Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, is important.
• Experience with SQL-based analytics architectures, dimensional modeling, star-schema design, and medallion patterns is valuable.
• Exposure to statistical methods such as trend analysis, cohort analysis, time-series analysis, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with both business and technical stakeholders are required.
• Experience preparing executive-level presentations, documentation, and reporting materials is expected.

• We design, build, and run data pipelines across our current Alteryx environment and our target BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform stack.
• We ensure data quality, lineage, freshness, reliability, and observability throughout the migration process.
• We assess existing Alteryx workflows and define modern target-state architectures using BigQuery, Dataform, dbt, Cloud Composer, and related Google Cloud Platform services.
• We lead phased migration efforts and validate that modernized workflows match legacy functionality.
• We develop dimensional models, semantic layers, and reusable data marts in BigQuery.
• We implement star-schema and medallion architectures to support scalable analytics and reporting.
• We create reusable data assets that speed up dashboard delivery and self-service analytics.
• We design and deliver production-ready dashboards in Tableau and/or Power BI.
• We build supporting data models, advanced calculations, row-level security, drill-through experiences, and performance enhancements.
• We publish and govern reporting solutions that provide executive-ready insights and operational visibility.
• We perform trend, cohort, time-series, and comparative analyses to surface business insights.
• We apply hypothesis testing, A/B test analysis, and light predictive methods where they add value.
• We turn data into clear narratives, recommendations, and actionable business outcomes.
• We identify opportunities to create additional value from our data assets.
• We serve as a subject matter expert for departmental data and analytics.
• We partner with business and technical teams to define requirements, metrics, and reporting needs.
• We resolve data questions and support critical business decisions with accurate analysis.
• We document requirements, data contracts, metric definitions, technical designs, and migration runbooks.
• We prepare executive presentations and supporting materials for leadership and board-level discussions.
• We promote reporting standards, reusable assets, and analytics best practices across the organization.
