This full-time, contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated school counseling professional seeking to provide essential social, emotional, and academic guidance to students through the end of the 2026–2027 school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Counseling from an accredited program
• Active School Counselor Certificate required
• Preferred: Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience
• Proven ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to elementary students, addressing academic, personal, and emotional challenges
• Develop and implement programs that foster positive school climates and support student achievement
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to identify and meet students' needs
• Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
• Conduct assessments, maintain records, and track students’ progress
• Advocate for students’ wellbeing and promote an inclusive, supportive learning environment

This is an onsite role offering a collaborative and friendly school setting. You’ll work 35 hours per week in a vibrant elementary school, helping students build confidence, develop coping skills, and succeed both in and out of the classroom.
