Role Description The Video Banker is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Nashville, TN, responsible for delivering member‑focused financial services through live video banking channels. The Video Banker responds to member inquiries, explains products and services, and provides guidance on loans, savings, and other financial solutions. Daily responsibilities include verifying member identification, resolving issues, updating account information, and documenting interactions in the system. The role collaborates with branch and back‑office teams to support cross‑selling opportunities, enhance the member experience, and maintain high service and compliance standards. Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust via video and other remote channels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including clear, professional on‑camera presence. Comfort and proficiency with video conferencing platforms, digital banking systems, and standard office software. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions, documentation, and member records. Basic knowledge of consumer banking products (e.g., checking, savings, loans, credit cards) and willingness to learn credit union‑specific services. Ability to follow regulatory and compliance requirements, including security, privacy, and identity verification procedures. Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to handle member concerns and escalations in a calm, solution‑oriented manner. Ability to work a consistent full‑time schedule, which may include some extended hours based on member needs. High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or a degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
