• 1+ year of experience in full-cycle recruiting
• Experience hiring for multiple positions at once
• Previous knowledge in HRIS software
• Experience previously recruiting on manufacturing skillsets preferred

Job Description

This recruiter will provide administrative and operational support to the HR team, focusing on recruitment coordination, employee-facing support, and daily HR activities. This role is essential in creating a positive candidate experience and serving as a frontline resource for employees. The ideal candidate is organized, enjoys helping others, and can communicate effectively with diverse individuals. This position offers a balanced 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HR Manager and hiring managers throughout the recruitment and selection process, from position opening to onboarding.
• Create and maintain job postings on internal and external platforms.
• Review applications and assist with initial candidate screening.
• Coordinate phone screens, interviews, and other selection activities.
• Assist with interview preparation, candidate materials, and documentation.
• Support candidate communication throughout the recruitment process.
• Assist with offer and pre-employment processes, including background checks and drug screens.
• Coordinate with recruiting resources and assist with new-hire onboarding.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries.
• Respond to employee questions regarding HR processes and policies.
• Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and team.
• Perform HRIS activities, including data entry and reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
