KēSTA I.T is actively seeking a Client Support Technician for an immediate contract engagement with our client.

Job Description :

We Are Seeking a dependable Client Support Technician to provide comprehensive on-site and remote technical support to end users. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing computers, peripherals, mobile devices, and other technology equipment, as well as installing and maintaining operating systems and business applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical support experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, account, and basic networking issues in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

·         Provide on-site and remote technical support to end users through phone, chat, in-person assistance, and other support channels.

·         Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, monitors, mobile devices, and related peripherals.

·         Install, configure, update, and maintain Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365 applications.

·         Respond to help desk requests and provide timely resolution to user-reported technical issues.

·         Create, document, track, and close support tickets using IT service management and ticketing systems.

·         Set up and configure new workstations, computers, peripherals, and user environments.

·         Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including account creation, access configuration, permissions, and equipment setup or recovery.

·         Assist with user account and access management within Active Directory and related platforms.

·         Troubleshoot basic networking issues involving DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, wireless connectivity, and related technologies.

·         Support endpoint security tools and assist with maintaining secure workstation environments.

·         Maintain accurate inventory records for hardware, software licenses, IT equipment, and technical supplies.

·         Escalate complex, recurring, or organization-wide technical issues to senior system, network, or infrastructure administrators.

·         Assist with hardware and software deployments, upgrades, replacements, and technology refresh initiatives.

·         Document troubleshooting procedures, resolutions, configurations, and other technical information as needed.

·         Provide clear and patient technical guidance to users with varying levels of technical expertise.

·         Maintain a strong customer service focus while managing multiple support requests and priorities.

Required Skills

·          High school diploma, vocational training, or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

·         1–4 years of relevant IT support, desktop support, or service desk experience.

·          Intermediate experience with Microsoft Windows 11.

·          Experience troubleshooting and supporting desktop and notebook computers.

·          Experience supporting and troubleshooting printers and related peripherals.

·          Experience supporting wireless devices and connectivity.

·          Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.

·          Understanding of basic networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.

·          Familiarity with endpoint security tools and workstation security practices.

·          Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems effectively.

·          Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·          Strong customer service mindset, patience, and professionalism.

·          Ability to prioritize multiple support requests and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

·          Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

·          Experience with Azure/Active Directory.

·          Intermediate experience with PowerShell.

·          Experience with PowerShell scripting or automation.

·          CompTIA A+ certification.

·          CompTIA Network+ certification.

·          Microsoft technical certifications or credentials.

·          Experience with IT ticketing/service management platforms.

·          Experience supporting user onboarding and offboarding processes.
