Essential Functions Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in cranial neurosurgery, including preoperative evaluation, surgical intervention, and postoperative management. Participate in bedside education and clinical instruction of medical students, APPs, and neurosurgery residents, particularly in the diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular and functional disorders. Provide direct patient care, including performing preoperative assessments, evaluating patients prior to surgery, overseeing postoperative recovery, and providing life‑saving interventions in emergency situations. Attend departmental and institutional meetings, contribute to governance, and assist in the preparation of educational materials. Engage in scholarly activities, including clinical research, quality improvement, and academic service. Provide service to the professional and lay community relevant to neurosurgery and academic medicine. Respond to University‑related communications in a timely and professional manner. Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental and institutional goals. Minimum Requirements MD or DO from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited neurosurgery residency program (7 years). Fellowship training in neurosurgical oncology. Active medical licensure in the State of Ohio.
