About the Role A law firm seeks a Debt Finance Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join its dynamic practice in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will engage in sophisticated finance deals across various industry sectors. Responsibilities Represent arrangers, agents, lenders, and borrowers in syndicated or bilateral credit facilities. Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents, including credit agreements and security agreements. Organize and manage complex closing processes. Negotiate and obtain third-party deliverables, such as control agreements and insurance endorsements. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Bar admission in the state of practice. Required Skills Strong negotiation and drafting skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills Experience with secured lending transactions, primarily in the middle market. Familiarity with UCC Article 9 and relevant elements of UCC Article 8. Admission, or eligibility for admission, in the state of practice.
