Mortgage Quality Control & Servicing Oversight Manager

Job Description

United Northern Mortgage Bank (UNMB), a nationally licensed mortgage lender and seven-time National Mortgage News "Best Places to Work" honoree, is looking for a Servicing and Quality Control Manager.

This is a hands-on role with three core responsibilities:

\n

Quality Control Oversight

\n

- Manage post-closing QC program (outsourced vendor plus internal review)

\n

- Conduct pre-funding and pre-shipping quality control audits

\n

- Review and challenge vendor findings where warranted (this is not a rubber-stamp role)

\n

- Maintain QC manual aligned with HUD, USDA, VA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac standards

\n

- Monitor compliance with TILA, RESPA, ECOA, FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA, UDAAP, and BSA/AML

\n

\n

Subservicing Oversight

\n

- Oversee subservicer performance, compliance, and reporting per Fannie Mae Servicing Guide

\n

- Conduct risk assessments and manage corrective action plans

\n

- Monitor servicing performance metrics (delinquency, loss mitigation, escrow, remittance)

\n

- Serve as primary liaison between UNMB and subservicing partners

\n

\n

Government Insuring

\n

- Manage FHA self-insuring and VA guaranty processes

\n

- Ensure timely compliance with all government agency requirements

\n

This role reports to the CEO and works closely with the company president. Two rounds of interviews, and a decision made quickly. UNMB is looking to fill this role as soon as possible.

Remote position with occasional travel to the main office for audits or regulatory visits. East Coast time zone strongly preferred.

\n

Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 depending on experience

\n

\n
