Senior Manager, Contracts (Onsite)

Senior Manager, Contracts Position location: Andover, MA (on‑site). The role requires an active Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain the clearance. Responsibilities Serve as the Contracts Lead during the pre‑proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and start‑up phases of Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD) programs. Coach and mentor 1–3 Contracts team members. Analyze Requests for Proposal (RFPs); develop proposals, conduct reviews, coordinate negotiations, and finalize contractual agreements. Execute and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and manage contract lifecycle through closeout. Work cross‑functionally with Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and other internal partners to resolve complex contractual issues and achieve business results. Provide guidance on contractual and business matters, advise management of rights, obligations, mitigation of risks, and communicate strategic issues to senior leadership. Maintain effective relationships with customers (e.g., Army Contracting Command) and internal stakeholders. Travel up to 10% to customer and company locations in Massachusetts, Arizona, California, and Alabama. Qualifications University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 7 years. Experience in Contracts Management, Contracts Administration, Acquisitions, or Procurement. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). Proven ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners. Strong coaching and talent development skills, providing constructive feedback and building high‑performing teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all organizational levels. Analytical and interpersonal skills; ability to multi‑task across multiple programs with strong time‑management and organization. Active Secret security clearance.
