Competitive pay Bonus incentives 401k Medical/Dental/Vision Job Details Job Details: Our company is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Consulting Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a fast-paced, growing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency. This role will also involve liaising with other departments and clients, providing financial information and support as needed. Responsibilities: 1. Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment processing, and month-end closing. 2. Ensure all invoices are coded correctly and approved by the appropriate personnel. 3. Prepare and maintain various reports including weekly aging reports, monthly accruals, and reconciliation reports. 4. Use pivot tables and other advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting. 5. Liaise with internal departments and external clients to resolve any issues related to accounts payable. 6. Maintain vendor files and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner. 7. Participate in the development and implementation of accounts payable policies and procedures. 8. Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary information and documents. 9. Collaborate with the accounting team on various projects as needed. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with a strong understanding of AP principles and procedures. 3. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel, particularly pivot tables. 4. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and maintain high levels of accuracy. 5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and with external clients. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 7. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory standards. 8. Experience in the Accounting and Finance industry is highly desirable. 9. Professional certification such as Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus. 10.
