New York City | Hybrid Patent Litigation Associate Attorney AmLaw 100 Opportunity Compensation $235,000 – $410,000+ A nationally recognized AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate Attorney to join its New York office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing technology companies, manufacturers, telecommunications providers, software companies, financial institutions, and other innovative businesses in sophisticated patent litigation matters. Ideal Background 2–5 years of patent litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm Experience representing technology companies, telecommunications providers, software developers, hardware manufacturers, financial institutions, life sciences companies, and other innovative businesses Experience handling patent litigation in federal district courts through all phases of litigation Experience with fact and expert discovery, depositions, motion practice, claim construction (Markman), dispositive motions, trial preparation, and appeals Experience representing clients in competitor-versus-competitor disputes and/or defending non-practicing entity (NPE) litigation is preferred Experience working closely with technical experts, inventors, engineers, in-house counsel, and business stakeholders throughout complex litigation matters Technical background or advanced degree in engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, or another scientific discipline is preferred but not required Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills Ability to independently manage sophisticated litigation matters while maintaining significant client interaction Excellent academic credentials J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required New York bar admission required or ability to become admitted Why This Opportunity Nationally recognized Intellectual Property Litigation practice Sophisticated patent litigation across a wide range of industries Opportunity to represent leading technology companies, manufacturers, telecommunications providers, and financial institutions Significant client interaction and early courtroom responsibility Strong mentorship and professional development Collaborative AmLaw 100 environment Interested?
