What You Will Do Serving as trusted legal counsel to homeowners’ associations and community management companies Advising boards of directors on governance, compliance, contracts, and operational issues Resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation, and litigation Handling collections, liens, foreclosures, and covenant enforcement matters Drafting and reviewing contracts, governing documents, pleadings, and real estate instruments Conducting legal research and providing practical legal opinions Representing clients in hearings, mediations, trials, and board meetings (for litigation attorneys) Collaborating closely with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative professionals Building long-term relationships with clients by providing responsive, solution-oriented legal advice Remaining current on changes in applicable law and industry developments Maintaining accurate billing and time records No two days are the same. What We Are Looking For We are seeking attorneys who are motivated by solving problems, serving clients, and continually improving their craft. Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in South Carolina (required) Rule 403 certification (required for litigators) Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while producing high-quality work. Professionalism, accountability, and commitment to client service. A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn Experience in community association law is welcomed but not required. Attorneys with backgrounds in litigation, real estate, business law, construction law, creditor’s rights, or related practice areas are encouraged to apply.
