Key Responsibilities\n

• Actively engage with clients by providing in-office and community-based clinical interventions for individuals experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional distress.

• Develop strong therapeutic rapport with clients and their families, fostering trust and empathy in every interaction.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments utilizing evidence-based screening tools to identify client needs, developing integrated care plans for effective treatment.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring the delivery of tailored services that address specific client challenges and goals.

• Implement ongoing monitoring and evaluation of client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote holistic care, linking clients to additional resources and services as needed.

• Participate in crisis intervention efforts, providing timely, compassionate support to clients in acute distress.

• Engage in regular professional development through training, supervision, and peer collaboration, aimed at enhancing personal clinical skills and overall service delivery.

• Prepare and submit timely documentation and reports to ensure compliance with organizational standards and local regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adults facing severe mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, and substance abuse disorders. You will interact with a diverse client base, including individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Understanding the unique challenges of your clients will enable you to provide culturally competent and effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.

• Must possess a valid LCSW license to practice in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health settings, demonstrating expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of behavioral health issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
