Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments through virtual interviews to evaluate clients, including their social, emotional, and economic circumstances that may affect their recovery from substance use and trauma.

• Utilize a variety of trauma-informed therapeutic techniques to support clients during their recovery journey, focusing on developing personalized treatment plans that address their unique challenges.

• Monitor client progress and maintain regular follow-up communications to ensure therapeutic measures are effective and modify treatment plans as needed for optimal outcomes.

• Research, recommend, and advocate for community resources such as healthcare services, housing assistance, food programs, and childcare, to enhance the well-being of clients and their families.

• Provide crisis intervention services in situations involving child abuse or mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate support is given.

• Engage with clients and their families in a compassionate, culturally competent manner to build trust and promote a therapeutic alliance.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case progress and share insights to foster a collaborative therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will predominantly work with individuals struggling with substance use disorders and past traumatic experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Oregon.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health services, ideally in a healthcare or similar environment.

• Demonstrated experience working with Veterans is preferred, enhancing our capacity to support this specialized population.

• Familiarity with Department of Mental Health billing and administrative requirements.

• Strong understanding of child development, parenting issues, and child protection practices.

• Excellent verbal communication skills, enabling effective counseling and patient advisement.

Compensation and Benefits\n
