The Woodside Elementary School (WES) District is a single-school K-8 public school district in the San Francisco Bay Area, serving the incorporated Woodside area. Students from this school district who continue public schooling matriculate to the Sequoia Union High School District or attend many private high schools. Our beautiful campus has Woodside Preschool, Woodside Elementary/Lower School (TK-5), and Woodside Upper School (5-8).

Job Summary

LENGTH OF WORK YEAR
180 days, 11 Months: August through June (pro-rated based on start date)


SCHEDULE
Schedule to be determined upon assignment. Standard schedules are instructional days from 8:10 am to 3:20 pm.


SALARY RANGE
Based on WESD 2025-26 Classified Salary Schedule (Board approved 05.26.2026)




Compensated for 180 days at 6 hours and 40 minutes per day - based on standard schedule. Eligible for health & wellness benefits based on FTE.


EMPLOYMENT TYPE

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Student Services


JOB SUMMARY/DUTIES:
Under supervision, Special Education paraprofessional III assists the teacher with implementing educational programs for students with disabilities in infants through adult special education programs, and performs other related duties, responsibilities, and expectations as needed. Perform a variety of educational services and supports associated with students with special needs. Provide assistance, as directed by the Student Services Director, to an individual or small group. Ability to work well on a team. Note, this position will serve an age range of students preschool through 8th grade.
