CNC Programmer

CNC ProgrammerWe're seeking a CNC Programmer to join our team in Rochester NY. The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for precision aerospace rings manufactured from bar stock and forgings. This role ensures programs are efficient, repeatable, and compliant with aerospace quality standards (AS9100) while supporting on-time delivery and cost objectives.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Optimize cycle times while maintaining dimensional integrity and requirements.Troubleshoot machining issues and revise programs to improve yield and reduce scrap.Collaborate with Quality to resolve nonconformances and implement corrective actions.Provide technical guidance to CNC Machinists and Setup Technicians along with training.Maintain program documentation, revision control, and backup systemsSupport lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts.Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policiesBasic Qualifications:Associate degree or technical certification in CNC Programming, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.2 years programming of CNC turning machinesM and G code knowledgeAbility to read and interpret complex Engineering documentsEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
