The Senior Marketing Coordinator is a key member of Johnston’s marketing team responsible for supporting the development and production of proposals, qualifications, presentations, and other marketing materials.

Working closely with the Marketing Pursuits Manager, business development, firm leadership, and technical staff, this role coordinates pursuit activities, develops compelling proposal materials, maintains marketing content, and helps ensure deliverables are accurate, visually engaging, compliant, and completed on schedule.

The ideal candidate is an organized, creative, and detail-oriented A/E/C marketing professional with strong Adobe InDesign skills, excellent written communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a collaborative environment.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, English, business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Five or more years of marketing experience, preferably within the architecture, engineering, construction (A/E/C), or professional services industry.
• Experience coordinating RFQs, RFPs, qualifications, proposals, and presentation materials.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Experience with CRM or marketing databases such as Deltek Vantagepoint/Vision is preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, organizational, and visual communication skills.

PROPOSAL / PURSUIT SUPPORT

• Supports the Marketing Pursuits Manager in coordinating RFQs, RFPs, qualifications, proposals, and interview presentations.
• Reviews solicitation requirements and assists with proposal outlines, compliance requirements, schedules, and coordination of assignments.
• Coordinates proposal information from internal team members, consultants, and teaming partners.
• Develops and produces proposal documents in Adobe InDesign using Johnston templates and brand standards.
• Writes, edits, and proofreads project descriptions, resumes, qualifications, and other proposal content.
• Creates and updates proposal graphics, project sheets, resumes, organizational charts, and other supporting materials.
• Assists with preparation of required forms, questionnaires, and other proposal documentation.
• Supports interview and presentation development, including PowerPoint presentations, graphics, and leave-behind materials.
• Performs quality-control reviews for accuracy, formatting, consistency, and compliance prior to submission.
• Prepares final files for digital and printed delivery and maintains organized pursuit files.

GRAPHICS / MARKETING MATERIALS

• Produces professional, visually consistent proposals, presentations, brochures, capability statements, project sheets, resumes, and other marketing materials.
• Creates and updates InDesign templates, page layouts, graphics, and reusable marketing components.
• Selects and prepares project photography and other visual assets for marketing materials.
• Helps maintain consistent application of Johnston’s brand standards across marketing deliverables.
• Coordinates print production and digital distribution of marketing materials as needed.

MARKETING CONTENT / INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

• Maintains current project sheets, employee resumes, firm qualifications, boilerplate content, and other reusable marketing information.
• Assists with maintaining accurate project, employee, opportunity, and client information within the firm’s CRM and marketing systems.
• Supports research related to clients, competitors, markets, and project opportunities as requested.
• Helps organize and maintain marketing files, photography, templates, and other department resources.
• Supports other marketing and business development initiatives as assigned.

TEAM / DEPARTMENT SUPPORT

• Works closely with the Marketing Pursuits Manager and other members of the marketing and business development team.
• Collaborates with architects, engineers, technical professionals, and firm leadership to gather information and complete marketing deliverables.
• Helps maintain established marketing processes, templates, standards, and department resources.
• Provides support across the marketing department during periods of high pursuit activity and competing deadlines.
