Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a Family Law Legal Assistant on behalf of a well-established, AV-rated law firm with offices in Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, offering the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative and experienced legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle initial case setup in PerfectLaw
• Manage e-filing in state court systems
• Coordinate scheduling, calendaring, and docketing deadlines
• Prepare pleadings, legal correspondence, and other case-related documents
• Maintain consistent follow-up on pending matters
• Organize and manage case files, including documents and email correspondence within PerfectLaw

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in family law
• Proficiency with e-filing and legal calendaring systems
• Experience with PerfectLaw is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems
• Team-oriented with a positive, “can-do” attitude
• Ability to take direction from both attorneys and paralegals

Schedule:

• Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
• Hybrid schedule with required in-office presence in Fort Lauderdale
