Accounts Payable Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced accounts payable coordinator. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices and supporting day‑to‑day payables activities in a fast‑paced, project‑oriented environment. The position works closely with project teams, operations, and vendors to ensure accurate, timely payment and proper cost tracking. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $24 and $29/hr. 100% onsite. Duties Process high‑volume vendor invoices, including matching to purchase orders, contracts, and receiving documentation Review invoices for accuracy, proper coding, approvals, and compliance with internal policies Coordinate with project managers and field personnel to resolve invoice discrepancies and missing documentation Maintain accurate job cost coding across multiple projects and cost categories Prepare weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments in accordance with payment terms Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status Set up and maintain vendor records, including W‑9 documentation and compliance requirements Assist with month‑end close activities related to accounts payable, accruals, and job cost reporting Support audit requests and maintain organized electronic and physical invoice files Assist with 1099 preparation and other regulatory reporting as needed Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounts payable Qualifications 2+ years of accounts payable experience in a high‑volume or project‑based environment Experience with purchase order matching, job cost coding, and progress billing preferred Strong understanding of accounts payable controls and general accounting principles Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy If you are interested in learning more, please apply now. #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
