A long-established and highly respected New York home care organization is seeking an experienced Director of Patient Services (DPS) to lead clinical operations and partner closely with executive leadership in supporting continued organizational excellence, operational efficiency, and quality patient care.

This is a key leadership role for a clinically strong, emotionally intelligent operator who thrives in a fast-paced home care environment, remains composed under pressure, and can effectively balance regulatory oversight with team leadership, process improvement, and collaboration across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations for a licensed home care organization
• Ensure compliance with NYS Department of Health regulations and survey readiness
• Partner with clinical supervisors and field leadership to maintain high standards of patient care
• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Review clinical documentation, patient care plans, and operational workflows
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and operational improvements
• Support hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and development of clinical staff
• Maintain high standards of patient care, compliance, and clinical accountability

Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Prior experience in LHCSA, CHHA, home care, private duty nursing, or pediatric home care required
• Previous experience as a Director of Patient Services, Clinical Director, Director of Clinical Services, Assistant DPS, or similar home care leadership role strongly required
• Strong understanding of NYS Department of Health regulations, compliance, and audits
• Experience supervising clinical teams within a home care setting
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
