Reporting to the Director of Quality and Patient Safety, the Patient Safety and Quality Specialist partners closely with the Chief Nursing and Medical leadership, Infection Prevention, Risk Management, Pharmacy, Case Management, and front-line teams; as a Patient Safety and Quality Specialist, responsibilities span root cause analysis and FMEA, core measure and value-based program performance, accreditation and survey readiness (Joint Commission/CMS/State), antimicrobial stewardship alignment, sepsis and readmissions reduction, and creation of real-time dashboards that turn data into action-backed by friendly nurses, engaged physicians, and an interdisciplinary team that reflects the community it serves.
