Training and Development Specialist

Position Overview:The Training and Development Specialist is responsible for creating, planning and running training/development programs for all employees. This position is specifically responsible for the assessment, development, delivery, and evaluation of all internal and external training. This position will provide services in multiple locations.Here’s what the job involves:Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs that support employee growth and organizational goals.Partner with managers to identify training needs, strengthen employee performance, and support professional development.Facilitate leadership development and ongoing learning opportunities for employeesManage the organization's Learning Management System (LMS), training records, compliance tracking, and monthly training calendar.Coordinate internal and external training sessions, including scheduling, vendor partnerships, and training resources.Monitor employee engagement through surveys, stay interviews, and performance data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Track training compliance, maintain accurate documentation, prepare reports, and manage the department training budget.Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives, departmental goals, and organizational projectsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field required.Minimum two (2) years related experience in providing training and development to organizations required.HR certification preferredExperience with Instructional design and adult learning principles preferredExperience creating eLearning content using tools such as Articulate 360 preferredExperience with Learning Management System (LMS) administration (LearnDash, WordPress, or similar platforms) preferred.Must be 21 years or olderValid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record requiredSuccessful completion of a background check through Clearinghouse (learn more)Benefits Offered:Paid holidaysGenerous vacation, sick, and personal daysFREE single HMO medical, dental, and vision insurance!Company-paid life insuranceLegal, identity theft, and AFLAC plans available403(b) retirement plan403(b) matching – 100% of the first 6%Tuition reimbursementReferral bonus program #J-18808-Ljbffr
