// Remote // Sales Analyst - Industrial Manufacturer (36624)

An industrial manufacturer based near Kokomo, Indiana is seeking a remote Sales Analyst to support their expanding operations. The Sales Analyst will work across multiple departments, including sales and operations, in order to analyze financial data and develop recommendations for continued profitable growth. The ideal candidate will have an educational background in Business or Data Analysis, prior experience with pricing and sales analysis within manufacturing, and a positive, team-oriented mindset.

This is a fully remote, full-time and direct-hire position. Candidates, regardless of the time zone they are based out of, will be expected to work and attend meetings between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm EST. Occasional travel to the company location near Kokomo, Indiana may be required as necessary.

Sales Analyst Responsibilities:

• Review sales data to analyze product performance, customer order trends, and general market trends to develop strong risk/benefit analyses and influence company direction
• Evaluate product pricing and quotations for consistency and profitability, recommending corrective action and pricing controls as necessary
• Support strategy and margin objectives through analysis of customer trends and market data
• Evaluate workflow efficacy and develop improvements to support operational accuracy, responsiveness, and scalability
• Implement and maintain consistent practices for commercial information storage across ERP, CRM, and other sales reporting systems
• Support forecasting, budgeting and capacity planning through tailored, data-driven recommendations
• Evaluate actual data and explain variances from anticipated forecast, keeping a long-term perspective
• Resolve issues regarding pricing, orders, and system functionality by establishing and maintaining scalable processes for sales data management during high-growth periods
• Other duties as assigned

Sales Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or a related combination of education and experience
• Several years of prior experience in sales, data analytics, and product pricing, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical judgement and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, CRM, and ERP software

Candidates should be able to work at a computer for long periods of time.
