As an LCSW at our detox center, you will leverage your clinical skills to support clients undergoing behavioral health challenges, particularly focusing on early intervention for children.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify the needs of children and families.

• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP).
\n
• Monitor and document outcomes, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure effective support.
\n
• Provide direct support to families, guiding them in strategies that enhance their child’s development.
\n
• Administer evidence-based practices within a Natural Learning Environment framework.
\n
• Develop rapport with clients, fostering a trusting and collaborative environment with children and families.
\n
• Stay compliant with all federal and state regulations concerning social work practice and child welfare.
\n
• Utilize coaching models while teaching families how to engage with their children’s developmental milestones.
\n
• Offer ongoing education to families regarding developmental strategies and services available.
\n
• Ensure the health and safety of clients and staff in accordance with established standards and protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on very young children, particularly those experiencing disabilities or delays in development. You will work closely with vulnerable populations to support them in reaching critical milestones in their early years—physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and communication skills are all areas where your expertise will guide progress. Collaborating with families in nurturing and empowering environments is fundamental to the success of our program.

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Must be licensed by the Department of Public Health as an LCSW.

• A valid driver's license is required for any potential travel to client locations.
