Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver customized mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, tailored to clients' needs for stress reduction and emotional balance.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify client-specific stressors, therapeutic challenges, and personalized goals, ensuring effective treatment planning.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and therapeutic breathing techniques designed to cultivate self-awareness and emotional stability.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops that focus on mindfulness practices, resilience-building strategies, and stress management techniques.

• Incorporate mindfulness-based techniques into individual therapy sessions to effectively address specific mental health concerns and support clients in their personal journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults facing diverse life challenges, including high-stress situations, anxiety disorders, and general emotional distress. Many clients seek our services to enhance their coping skills, manage stress levels, and develop a greater sense of well-being. By focusing on mindfulness, you will help clients cultivate awareness and apply effective stress management strategies that empower them to lead fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A strong background in integrating mindfulness into therapeutic interventions, with a commitment to fostering a calming therapeutic environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively connect with clients from varying backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
