Work Environment\n

This position is remote, offering you flexibility and autonomy to manage your schedule within a structured 40-hour work week. Employees can choose their own hours, typically working Monday to Friday with the potential for weekends as needed. You will be equipped with the latest telehealth technologies to enable you to connect with clients seamlessly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and crisis interventions to assess the emotional and psychological states of clients.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments, collaborating closely with patients and their families to address their specific needs.
\n
• Ensure continuity of care by coordinating patient dispositions to the appropriate level of mental health services, working in tandem with community resources.
\n
• Lead group therapy sessions in various units, creating a supportive environment for participants to share and grow.
\n
• Facilitate discussions among clinical teams during case conferences and treatment planning meetings, ensuring all aspects of care are well-coordinated.
\n
• Contribute to mental health and medical rounds to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all patient interactions, adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
\n
• Participate in weekly clinical supervision sessions with a Clinical Supervisor for ongoing professional development and support.
\n
• Engage with the Department of Corrections to provide access to needed resources for clients who require additional support.
\n
• Supervise social work interns or student volunteers as assigned, fostering their development and enriching the organization.
\n
• Occasionally conduct psychological testing as part of the assessment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including those facing complex psychological challenges stemming from social, environmental, and cultural factors. Our patients include individuals from various backgrounds and age groups, each requiring tailored approaches to treatment that respect their unique circumstances and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is mandatory.
\n
• A valid State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain this license.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
\n
• Proven ability to assess and respond to mental health crises effectively.
\n
• Experience with telehealth platforms and commitment to providing remote services efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in community health settings or working with diverse populations will be preferred. Experience in leading group therapy initiatives is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
