This full-time, remote position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000. This position offers a flexible, remote work setting that empowers our counselors to manage their schedules effectively while maintaining a consistent 40-hour workweek. Employees have the autonomy to choose their working hours from Monday to Friday, with additional weekend availability as needed. While primarily remote, counselors will collaborate with colleagues in an outpatient office setting, creating a dynamic and team-oriented atmosphere where ideas and best practices can be shared freely.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, ensuring thorough assessments of clients' psychological and emotional needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and develop short-term and long-term treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Coordinate and oversee patient care, determining the appropriate level of mental health services needed per individual case.

• Complete statistical reports documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes, adhering to organizational guidelines and compliance standards.

• Collaborate with external agencies, including the Department of Corrections, to facilitate patient access to necessary support services and housing arrangements.

• Lead therapeutic group sessions within mental health observation units, fostering a supportive environment for shared learning and growth.

• Maintain meticulous records and documentation of all client interactions and treatment sessions.

• Participate in regular clinical supervision with the designated Clinical Supervisor, enhancing personal and professional development.

• Engage in mental health and medical rounds, contributing insights and strategies for ongoing patient care and treatment adjustments.

• Attend case conferences and treatment planning sessions to evaluate and recommend treatment options for clients.

• Administer psychological testing as required to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Facilitate the training and supervision of social work interns or student volunteers, providing mentorship and guidance in a clinical setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population of clients from various backgrounds, including children, adolescents, and adults facing mental health challenges. This role requires a compassionate approach to understanding the social, environmental, psychological, and cultural factors impacting each individual’s health. Counselors will address a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders, adapting their treatment methodologies to align with each client's needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required, with the ability to maintain licensure throughout employment.

Preferred Experience\n

While experience in a similar role is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Candidates with previous work in outpatient settings, crisis intervention, or collaborative treatment planning will be given preference.
