This position is conducted within a remote outpatient office setting, allowing counselors the flexibility to work from home while still engaging directly with clients through virtual platforms. You will be part of a flexibility-focused workplace that prioritizes work-life balance by offering a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of family needs and linking them to appropriate community-based resources.

• Providing crisis intervention for clients experiencing trauma, substance abuse issues, domestic violence, or severe mental health conditions.

• Documenting detailed patient histories, clinical assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes to uphold the highest standards of care and compliance.

• Educating and supporting colleagues about clients' psychosocial stressors, ensuring collaborative approaches that foster positive outcomes for families.

• Maintaining up-to-date clinical documentation and treatment records to facilitate ongoing care.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of California.

• Proven experience providing counseling services, particularly with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

While at least one year of relevant experience is required, candidates with experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and substance abuse prevention will be especially well-prepared for this role. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms will also be beneficial in ensuring efficient client management.
