Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess clients’ needs and tailor appropriate intervention strategies.

• Perform crisis interventions and follow-up care, ensuring clients receive the ongoing support necessary for their recovery.

• Develop an individualized treatment plan by determining patients' needs, coordinating the disposition of patients to appropriate level care, and monitoring progress.

• Engage in collaboration with the Department of Correction when necessary to ensure safe and effective transitions to care, which may include providing necessary recommendations for housing and treatment.

• Lead group therapy sessions on mental health observation units, facilitating a safe and supportive group dynamic.
\n
• Participate in routine clinical supervision sessions with a Clinical Supervisor to enhance clinical skills and professional development.
\n
• Contribute to case conferences, sharing insights and collaborating with other healthcare providers in the treatment planning process for clients receiving mental health services.

• Document all client interactions and treatment details according to established guidelines to maintain compliance and high-quality care standards.

• Potentially conduct psychological assessments and supervise social work interns or student volunteers under your guidance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves a diverse client population experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Applicants must hold a valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
