Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations that include assessments and crisis interventions tailored to individual patient needs.

• Coordinate the disposition of patients to ensure they receive the proper level of mental health care based on thorough assessments.

• Complete all necessary statistical reports and documentation in a timely manner to maintain compliance and facilitate continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with the Department of Correction to ensure proper housing and treatment placement of patients involved in the criminal justice system.

• Manage the coordination of patient care across various institutional programs and services to ensure the highest quality treatment.

• Lead engaging group treatment sessions on mental health observation units, promoting supportive peer interactions and therapeutic growth.

• Participate in clinical supervision sessions with your Clinical Supervisor at least once a week for professional development and case discussions.
\n
• Engage in multidisciplinary mental health and medical rounds to ensure integrated care for clients.
\n
• Play an active role in case conferences and treatment planning for patients who are receiving or being considered for mental health treatment.
\n
• Conduct psychological testing and assessments as necessary, depending on the assigned duties.

• Supervise social work interns or student volunteers, fostering their growth while contributing to valuable team dynamics.
